Baton Rouge, LA

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating Shift Work (2-2-3 shift)

Pay Range: $23.00 / hr. - $26.00 / hr.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead Responsibilities

* Involved in the overall training initiatives for the warehouse employees.

* Ensure the employees have the knowledge, tools, and equipment to perform their job accurately and safely.

* Involved in daily safety meetings and performs safety observations in the field.

* Conducts incoming inspection of service equipment, parts, and material.

* Maintains training record and involved in incident investigations.

Warehouse Responsibilities

* Housekeeping duties to include scraping and removing spillage from the floor and surrounding equipment.

* Works one or more of six separate packaging stations on the line.

* Finished product (rubber) is baled into 5080 pound blocks, wrapped, sealed and placed into boxes.

* Any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the assigned task.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

* Experience in a lead position (e.g. team leader, foreman, shift supervisor, etc.).

* Industrial experience is a plus but not required.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

* Must possess a valid TWIC card and driver's license

* 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

* Stable work history with good references from past employers

* Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

* Speak fluent English

Physical Requirements:

You must be able to:

* Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision

* Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required

* Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold

* Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE

* Lift 50 pounds floor to waist

* Push and pull 50 pounds horizontally

* Carry 20 pounds while walking

* Climb stairs and ladders

* Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
