Description:

What You'll Do

  • Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes
  • Operating Geoprobe unit for the collection of soil and Con Penetrometer (CPT) data
  • Locating borings in the field and recording all required drilling data
  • Performing drill rig and support truck maintenance
  • Troubleshooting mechanical problems including those of an electrical or hydraulic nature
  • Planning daily schedule to meet productivity goals
  • Training and mentoring the driller helper(s)

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 - 4 years of experience
  • Class A CDL and NCDOT Well Driller license
  • Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
