Job Summary:

The Papermill Warehouse Associate is responsible for the efficient and organized management of materials, products, and supplies within the papermill warehouse. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the production process runs smoothly by providing timely and accurate inventory support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform high level storeroom functions of receiving, staging and distribution of incoming deliveries to support Maintenance and Operations at Hood Container.

Competencies:

Individual must possess a high level of integrity, humility, and be a self-starter. Customer focused with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and exemplify a business presence.

Primary Accountabilities:

1. Forklift inspections
2. Accept deliveries (FedEx & Ups Ground, Direct Vendor Drop-offs, etc.)
3. Unload a variety of Freight Trucks (Saia, XPO, FedEx, etc.)
4. Open incoming packages, verify packing slips against shipment contents & sign
5. Label with part number & PO then stock in correct storage location or stage in assigned pickup areas for non-stock direct deliveries
6. Receive Packing slips in company software (verify packing slips against purchase order)
7. Notify employee that requested material is ready for pick up
8. Retrieve, pick and stage work orders (pick tickets) as needed
9. Delivery of materials / packages to designated areas or drop zones (includes repairs)
10. Escort employees / vendors through Stores - as needed
11. Complete daily/weekly cycle count sheet
12. Scanning & filing of completed packing slips
13. Stores Stock Returns (restock)
14. Housekeeping (sweeping, empty trash, dusting, etc.)
15. Experience in AX, Microsoft Office
16. Strong communication skills and self-starter.
17. Other duties as assigned.
