GENERAL SUMMARY

To lead and drive performance in the Bolting Systems Gonzales warehouse by overseeing day-to-day shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory controls in compliance with company policies and business strategies. This role will involve a mixture of hands-on repair and maintenance of rental tools and actively leading the team to manage the flow of rental tools through the warehouse ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

1. Manage the warehouse in terms of compliance with company policies and strategy
2. Oversee and manage day-to-day shipping, receiving, and tool maintenance, prioritize daily tasks, order processing, and shop operations.
3. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both external and internal customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
4. Manage rental inventory control and reconcile with the Operations Supervisor on lost or damaged tooling.
5. Shop safety, ensuring all equipment is in safe operating condition and all safety shop rules are followed.
6. Must be very organized and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Must have strong customer service skills upon interaction on will calls, after-hour callouts or customer pickups.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and able to learn new programs.
10. Must have technical aptitude and be mechanically inclined to troubleshoot repairs and increase productivity.
11. Must be able to work an on-call schedule including after-hours weekends and holidays.
12. Be hands-on and lead by example.
13. The ability to identify opportunities for process development and improvement
14. A demonstrated commitment to EHS procedures and behavior.
15. Set up layout and ensure efficient space and asset utilization.
16. Ensure cleanliness of the building, work areas, and external areas always using the 5S process
17. Going the extra mile to engage the team and customers and develop relationships to increase business longevity, resolving any potential issues.
18. Additional duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the business.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant warehouse leadership experience preferably in a rental or service fast-paced environment.

• 8+ years' experience working in and leading a warehouse.

• Be computer efficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP experience beneficial).

• Clean driving history.

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

• TWIC card or ability to obtain.

• Must have a “can do” attitude.

• Must be effective at managing multiple tasks.

• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical background.

• Must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, and be self-motivated.

SKILLS

1. The ability to lead day-to-day tasks in the warehouse while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
2. The ability to work on multiple tasks and demonstrate experience in developing and leading the warehouse & tool refurbishment processes.
3. Physical demands of lifting, moving, and packing products. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
4. The ability to work and build relationships with manager and colleagues across multiple and remote sites.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good initiative and ability to work independently.
7. Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast-paced, matrix environment satisfying multiple internal customers.
8. Proven track record of meeting high-performance standards in a team while maintaining ethics and integrity.
9. Effective communicator, ability to build and manage relationships across multiple and remote locations.
