We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team, responsible for performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections in commercial buildings across South Louisiana. The ideal candidate will use checklists to ensure all systems are functioning properly, manage work order software, and coordinate with on-site staff and vendors to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent customer relations skills, as work will be performed in occupied buildings.

• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections using standardized checklists.
• Utilize work order software to log, track, and complete service requests.
• Coordinate site visits with on-site staff and tenants.
• Manage and oversee vendors assisting with maintenance and repairs.
• Perform minor repairs and complete assigned work orders.
• Planning & Coordinating your upcoming work order tasks.
• Maintain positive customer relations while working in occupied spaces.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and building regulations.

• Experience in or general knowledge of construction.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or related field.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with third-party vendors.
• Experience working in occupied buildings.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple task and make decisions.
