Talascend is currently seeking a Lead HSE Engineer for a contract opportunity located in Baton Rouge, LA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain policies that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Participate in the design and development of facilities, work areas, and procedures, providing EHS recommendations.
• Prepare, update, and manage environmental policy and procedure manuals.
• Monitor changes to relevant laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
• Serve as the point of contact for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in EHS or a related area.
• Familiarity with standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to follow established guidelines and work under direct supervision.
