Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems and automation assignments.
• Operate as a technical lead or team member under supervision.
• Coordinate with project teams and ensure adherence to standards.
• Produce system architecture designs, specifications, and layouts.
• Review vendor and fabrication drawings for compliance.
• Perform fieldwork to gather data and configure control systems.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to complex designs.
• Estimate and schedule project tasks and resources.
• Develop small work packages for interoffice support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• PE registration preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant controls and automation experience.
• Knowledge of ISA S88, IEC 61131 standards, and OSHA 1910.119.
• Experience with control systems like DCS, PLC, HMI, SIS, and related networks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with command line interfaces, Windows Domains, Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and Network Security.
• Knowledge of protocols like Modbus, Ethernet, and LAN/WAN systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Microstation.
