  • At least one (1) year of technician experience in a hospital or health system setting
  • Associate's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • PTCB Certification and State of Louisiana Pharmacy Technician Licensure
  • 340B ACE certification required
  • Knowledge of 340B federal regulations and operational best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms and data analysis tools such as Excel

What You Will Do:

Serve as the lead for Baton Rouge General's 340B Drug Pricing Program by monitoring compliance, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring full implementation of program requirements across qualified use areas.
  • Ensure policies and procedures align with organizational and federal guidelines and are regularly reviewed and updated for compliance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and education to staff on 340B practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with vendors, pharmacy benefit managers, wholesalers, and third-party administrators.
  • Conduct audits, review purchasing accounts, and monitor software performance for accuracy and optimization.
  • Analyze program utilization data to identify opportunities for compliant expansion and cost savings.
  • Oversee daily 340B program operations, troubleshoot billing issues, and manage drug inventory and replenishment across GPO, WAC, and 340B accounts.
  • Perform monthly and annual audits for contract pharmacies and eligible sites; prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, maintain split-billing software integrity, and track cost savings and regulatory compliance metrics.

Requirements

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

One (1) year of technician experience in a hospital setting/health system required

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Associate's in business, Healthcare or related field

Master's in business, Healthcare or related field - preferred

SPECIAL SKILL, LICENSE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

PTCB Licensure. State of Louisiana Pharmacy Technician Licensure. 340B ACE - required

Must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver services in a manner that is appropriate to all patient populations. Excellence in communicating with peers, supervisors, team members, interdisciplinary colleagues, and external stakeholders

Familiarity with 340B federal regulations. Ability to use platforms within Microsoft Office.
