About this Job Clerks Office Assistant Clerk The Clerks Office of the Louisiana Court of Appeal, First Circuit, is looking for a smart, hard-working person interested in an entry-level position in the legal and judicial system of Louisiana. As an Assistant Clerk:You will interact with the appellate judges and the attorneys of the court. You will process filings in both appeals and writ applications. You will be trained in legal appellate processes and procedures. You will be called on to answer questions from attorneys throughout the state and the general public. If you have prior experience in a clerks office, as a paralegal, or are looking to get your start in the legal field, this is a multi-skilled entry-level opportunity for you.
