Director of Quality & Safety (HSEQ) - Aircraft MRO


Join this well-established and reputable Aircraft / Aviation MRO Services organization that is seeking a DIRECTOR of CORPORATE QUALITY & SAFETY in the Gulf Coast region.


We need an experienced AVIATION QUALITY leader who is forward-thinking to manage all Corporate HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) efforts, CFR Part 121 & 135 initiatives across multiple sites, ensure airworthiness and flight safety management systems (SMS & QMS) meet FAA standards.



  • Reporting directly to the VP, you will identify & communicate initiatives to the Executive team

  • Manage, train and mentor a solid team of 5-7 members

  • Collaborate with Senior leadership & all personnel, take a proactive approach to identify and minimize risks for quality assurance & safety programs throughout the organization.

  • Define root cause analysis and corrective actions, regulatory & compliance requirements, audits, improve organizational efficiencies and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Maintain an Emergency Response Plan and oversee the execution of planned drills and exercises.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5+ years of experience with FAA QUALITY & SAFETY requirements for 14 CFR Part121 / 135 / 145 + HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) + AS 9110 / AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards

  • Proven leadership & able to mentor team members & developing safety and quality directives.

  • Bachelor's degree required
