Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience or training in any field.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
May be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license at the time of appointment.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment related to Document Management.
- Train employees on best practices and software applications.
- Review and ensure the quality of completed work.
- Complete various reports and documentation.
- Perform unit-specific tasks as required.
- Utilize Kofax imaging and Content Navigator applications effectively
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position is a promotional opportunity for classified, permanent employees of DPS-Office of Motor Vehicles
Location: This vacancy is located in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation:
- The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
- The Motor Vehicle Compliance Analysts receive an additional hourly amount added to their base pay depending on how long they have worked for the Louisiana OMV. This, in addition to other types of pay, including market adjustments and promotions.
Employees hired into this position will receive premium pay per hour actually worked based on their years of experience, as outlined in the pay table below.
