Lead all accounting operations: general ledger, AP/ AR, payroll, and fixed assets Own the month-end and year-end close process with a focus on efficiency and accuracy Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ensure full compliance with National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) regulations and call reporting Act as the primary point of contact for audits, exams, and regulatory interactions Build, refine, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies Partner with the CFO and executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives Provide insight into financial performance, trends, and opportunities for growth Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) 7-12 years of accounting experience in a bank or credit union Proven le...Accounting, Leadership, Staffing, Account, Financial
