Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Transportation Operations & Safety Engineer to join high-impact engineering team building next-generation intelligent systems reshaping the future of mobility and automation. This role is located in fully remote.ResponsibilitiesLead & manage transportation safety, operations, & data research programs, serving as program manager & primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors & internal teamsProvide technical leadership on transportation safety, roadway operations, TSMO strategies, & safety countermeasure research across project lifecyclesConduct & oversee safety & operational analyses, infrastructure reviews, & road safety audits, recommending improvements aligned with best practices & performance standardsDevelop & maintain project plans, schedules, budgets & deliverables, ensuring quality, timeliness & contract complianceSupport proposal development & business growth, including leading technical sections, bid strategy, labor estimates & building strategic client relationshipsQualificationsMaster's Degree (or higher) in Transportation, Civil, or Systems Engineering or a related field12+ years of experience managing transportation research, safety, operations, or data-driven programsStrong experience collaborating with transportation agencies & applying transportation research methods, safety analysis tools & TSMO principlesDemonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects, budgets, deliverables, contract compliance & client relationshipsActive Public Trust clearanceCompensationSalary: $120,000-$155,000 depending on experienceBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, Holidays, PTO, sick leave as required by law#J-18808-Ljbffr
