Tiger Athletic Foundation is currently searching for self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals with an eye for detail and a passion for warm, genuine customer service to apply to become our next Premium Seating Intern. This is a paid internship open to all majors and classifications, including undergraduate and graduate students, and anyone seeking to gain invaluable hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience in collegiate athletics, hospitality, and event management while learning how to lead, serve, and grow in a high-energy, team-first environment.

Premium Seating Interns play a vital role in the success of our department and are responsible for supporting all aspects of the premium experience by assisting in the preparation, setup, and event management operations of our club and suite areas while providing exceptional hospitality to our donors and their guests. In addition, our Premium Seating Interns are primarily responsible for the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and management of 150+ Premium Seating Team Members.

As a part-time employee of Tiger Athletic Foundation, Premium Seating Interns must be flexible with scheduling (between 20-30 Hours/wk) and be willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Additionally, Interns are required to work all home football games throughout the duration of their internship and are expected to split coverage for basketball and baseball contests with other Premium Seating Interns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• assist in the execution of gameday operations for an assigned premium space(s) while delivering seamless and memorable fan experiences
• learn and enforce the operational policies and procedures, including ticketing and re-entry, food and beverage service, and expected fan behavior, for all clubs and suites within Tiger Stadium, the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, and Alex Box Stadium
• assist in the preparation and setup of an assigned premium space(s), such as moving and setting furniture, stocking gameday event supplies and materials, curating detailed cleaning and maintenance lists, and updating printed signage
• partner with our catering team, custodial staff, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers to ensure both the expressed and unexpressed needs and wishes of our donors and their guests are accommodated
• recruit, interview, train, schedule, communicate with, and manage up to 150+ Premium Seating Team Members while sustaining an established culture of positivity, appreciation, and teamwork
• cultivate and foster positive relationships with a broad range of groups, including donors, fans, athletic department personnel, and other employees of Tiger Athletic Foundation
• assist in the coordination of off-season events held within our premium spaces, as needed
• other duties, including various administrative tasks, as assigned

• must be able to work long hours on your feet and lift up to 50lbs
• must be able to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while remaining professional, respectful, and level-headed at all times
• must possess strong communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)
• should be able to receive and apply feedback and direction well
• should have an internal sense of urgency with regard to deadlines
• must possess a service-first mindset and friendly demeanor
• must successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check
